In collaboration with Career Transitions and local school divisions, Lethbridge College has introduced the exciting 'Introduction to the Trades Dual Credit Pathway Program'. This 15-week course provides a comprehensive overview of various trades programs, helping you gain a solid understanding and develop essential skills in the trades field.
The program covers a wide range of trades disciplines, including Agricultural Technician, Automotive Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Parts Technician, Carpentry, Baking, Cooking, Electrical, Powerline Technician, Plumbing, Welding, and Wind Turbine Technician. This diverse array of programs ensures you have plenty of career paths to explore.
The course format is a blended learning approach, combining asynchronous online modules with in-person learning experiences at the college. You'll have the opportunity to delve into theoretical aspects of your chosen trades online and apply your learning during on-campus visits under the guidance of experienced faculty from the Centre for Trades.
